“El Gato Feo” is a Spanish language, western drama short film about two estranged sisters, Luisa and Adelita, set in 1915 Mexico. On the run from Pancho Villa's Army, Luisa encounters Adelita, the leader of a small, military unit of women, who must decide if she will help her sister cross the Rio Grande River into Texas. As Luisa bonds with the other soldiers in her sister’s unit, Adelita tells a story to embarrass Luisa –– a story about a giant cat known as el Gato Feo [The Ugly Cat].
